May 7, 2012: Mr. Dogas can be seen as Phil Larson in Peabody Opera's production of The Truth is Not Out There, an original mini-opera composed by Ian Hockett. Directed by Roger Brunyate, this performance is part of the Études series, a collection of new operas composed by Peabody Conservatory students. The performance begins at 7:30 PM in Friedberg Hall at Peabody Conservatory. Admission is free. For more information on this mini-opera and others included on the program, click here.
April 29, 2012: Mr. Dogas will be a featured soloist in "The Power of Spirituals", a concert and lecture event presented Dr. Eileen Guenther as part of the Spire Series at the First & Franklin Street Presbyterian Church in Baltimore, Maryland. April 20, 2012: Mr. Dogas will perform a joint recital with Belinda Lau, soprano, at First & Franklin Street Presbyterian Church in Baltimore, MD. The recital begin at 7 PM. Donations are welcome and support the performers' summer performance opportunities.
February, 2012: Mr. Dogas was cast as The Pirate King in a production of The Pirates of Penzance at Quisisana on Lake Kezar, Maine. Performances open Summer, 2012. For more information on this performance and Quisisana Resort, click here.
January, 2012: Mr. Dogas was cast in The Truth Is Not Out There, an original opera written by Ian Hockett. This production is part of the Peabody Opera Etudes program, a series of original operas composed by Peabody Conservatory composition students. Production opens Spring, 2012.
December 18, 2011: Mr. Dogas can be heard as a soloist in Hugo Distler's, A Little Advent Music. Performed as part of the Candlelight Choral Service, this annual concert is held in conjunction with The Spire Series at The First & Franklin Street Presbyterian Church in Baltimore, Maryland. November, 2011: Mr. Dogas can be seen in a new production of The Rake's Progress at Lyric Opera Baltimore. Directed by Garnett Bruce, this Peabody Opera production marks the first in a series of collaborations between Peabody Opera and the newly renovated Lyric Opera Baltimore. September, 2011: Mr. Dogas was cast as "Shakespeare" in the new children's opera, Ariel's Tempest. Libretto by Roger Brunyate and music by Douglas Allan Buchanan. This premiere work will be performed in conjunction with Peabody Opera Outreach and Annapolis Opera. Production set to open November, 2011 and tour throughout much of Spring 2012.
